The Wye Valley AONB, Monmouthshire County Council, Tintern Community Council, Trellech United Community Council, St Arvans Community Council and Devauden Community Council have worked together with ARUP consultancy to prepare a report that looks at what is important and how the Monmouthshire villages that lie within the Wye Valley AONB area might develop in the future.

It talks about, amongst other things,  road safety, signage, public transport, tourism and various other issues that affect residents, visitors, businesses etc. The reports are available here in summary and various formats. It is hoped that the various councils and WYE Valley AONB will adopt the report after which the work starts on delivering various aspects but also checking that the recommendations remain relevant, require revision or even changed. Assuming the councils sign up then a steering group will be established after the elections.
