Any report of suspected abuse is treated seriously. It is seen as a priority for prompt action and help.
We believe that all children, adults and young people in Monmouthshire have the right to be safe from harm and deserve the opportunity to fulfil their potential and live their lives in a safe environment.
We recognise our responsibilities in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk of harm, including the contribution we make to working together with other agencies to ensure the well-being of everyone in the county.
