Open data is data that anyone can access, use or share. Monmouthshire County Council has an approach to Open Data, where we aim to publish datasets that are useful and not confidential in an open data format.

• StatsWales publishes statistical data for Wales; information on Wales’ population, economy, government spending and performance as well as the environment, education, transport and health.
• NOMIS publishes information about businesses, wages and employment in Monmouthshire
• DataMapWales publishes geospatial data for Wales, including datasets from CADW and National Resources Wales
• What do they know publishes our responses from Freedom of Information (FOI) requests made using its site

Unless otherwise indicated everything on this website is released under the Open Government Licence which means you can reuse and reproduce it freely, with only a few conditions.
