InFaCT – Integrating Families & Community Together
Here to help empower families. Linking you and your family to services and opportunities in the community.
How can we help
Working within themes of social prescribing and community connection, InFaCT links children, young people, parents and professionals with existing community solutions to problems; helping families navigate the often complex support systems of referrals, service thresholds, and knowing who/what does what. We have a strong coproduction intention as well, working towards identifying gaps in child, young person, family and community support needs, and developing opportunities for local people and agencies to exchange resources and collaborate on innovative responses to the problems that families face.
We aim to empower families by identifying needs and engaging problems at the earliest opportunity, and to strengthen communities by supporting new ideas and bringing like-minded people together.

About the Team
Katie Shannon
Family and Community Link Co-Ordinator
I enjoy the opportunity to network across the county with a number of groups, services and voluntary organisations that I am then able to link families into to support their needs. No two days are ever the same and I get to meet some wonderful people. Outside of work you will find me spending time with my family as I am a busy mum to three children.
