This scheme has been successfully running for many years in Monmouthshire.
With this scheme, no formal lease agreement is in place. We will set up an Agency Agreement with you and act as the agent for your property let. There is currently no management fee for this.
You keep more control of your property in this way, and it suits landlords who wish to remain more ‘hands on’
What the team can do for you:

- Ensuring that all tenants have a minimum of one month’s deposit up to a maximum of £1500 to cover tenant damage only (this does not include furniture)
- Accompanied viewings – A team member can attend and liaise directly with your prospective contract holder
- Inventories – We can undertake both written and photographic inventories
- Advice around Rent Smart Wales registration
- Tenant Accreditation Scheme – we aim to match prospective tenants with landlord and properties to give you a level of reassurance. You can have control over who rents your property. We can complete checks on housing history, any previous arrears or anti-social behaviour issues
- Occupational Contracts – We’re happy to provide pre-prepared agreements with each contract
- Regular property inspections
- Financial Inclusion Service – You can request assistance if your contract holder experiences budgeting or benefit difficulties
- Housing Support Service – You can request assistance if your contract holder breaches their contract agreement
