- Download the latest version of the app about.pressreader.com/download-the-latest-app
- Launch the app
- Tap “Libraries & Groups”
- Type in “Monmouthshire Libraries”
- Enter your library card and PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN, just ask your local library.
The PressReader app is designed for reading on the go, with features optimized for mobile use. It allows downloading issues to read offline. The app has more interactive features, including swiping through pages and tapping to zoom.

The website version offers a more expansive view, especially useful for magazine spreads. No downloads are needed as access is available directly through a web browser without needing an app.

Members of Monmouthshire Libraries can borrow ePress (newspapers) for free from Borrowbox.
Newspapers can be read using the Borrowbox app which you can download from your Apple, Google or Amazon App store.
You can also access ePress through the Borrowbox website
National papers include the Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Independent and the Daily Express – and more!
Local newspapers include the Western Mail, the South Wales Post and the South Wales Echo.
To access this service, you will need to be a library member. You can sign up online. You will also need a PIN to login (please ask your library if you need a reminder of your PIN).
