MEET THE TUTOR: Jane Francombe

I am in my third year of tutoring for Monmouthshire Community Learning and very much enjoy teaching Italian and German for complete beginners in Monmouth, Usk and Abergavenny.

As a child, it was my love of languages and fascination for foreign lands that led me to study Italian and German at University, where I gained a joint degree, with Division 2 Honours, at the end of a 4 year course.

I have lived, travelled, worked and studied in both Italy and Germany and still have close connections with friends and the family I lived with while studying in Germany.

I always aim to make my lessons fun, interactive and informal and produce my own hand-outs, adapting them according to the needs of the group.

I look forward to welcoming you to one of my lessons soon.
