The Assistive Technology Services provides technological solutions to support and enable people to live comfortably and securely in their own homes.
All residents living in Monmouthshire can access the Assistive Technology Service. From 70p a day you can have the lifeline service in your home, which includes a pendant (with a neck or wrist worn option). Alternatively, if you are prone to falling, a wrist worn falls detector is available at an additional cost. Specialist equipment is available, for further information please contact the Assistive Technology Team.
The Assistive Technology service promotes well-being, independence, reassurance, whilst providing peace of mind, safety, security, and protection. At the press of a button, you will be connected to a local Control Centre, where an highly trained operator will answer your call. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
How much does the Assistive Technology Service Cost?
- A one off installation/set up fee from £50.00
- Costs start from £21.75 per month (including your equipment)
