Can I appeal my decision regarding the refusal of my blue badge application
There is no statutory appeals process against a decision made by a local authority on a blue badge application.
We follow guidance set by the Welsh Government but they do not have the power to intervene in the assessment of individual cases.
If you do not agree with the decision made not to award a blue badge to you and you have extra information or evidence you wish to present that was not provided with your original application, please telephone the Contact Centre on 01633-644644. We will then review the decision taking into account the additional evidence.
If you do not agree with the decision made not to award a blue badge to you but do not have any extra information or evidence you wish to present, we will look at the decision again but it is unlikely to be changed.
