UPDATE 10/6/21 –
A466 works nearing completion
Works on the A466 Wyndcliff site are nearing completion. The work had been delayed due to recent snagging of the works, highlighting a few areas along the edges of the rockface that required additional anchors and netting. However, it has now been confirmed that the road closure is expected to be removed by Saturday 19th June.
Previous information below:
On Friday 30th April, 2021, it was confirmed that all the requirements of the EPS regulations have been met and the road closure of the A466 at Wyndcliff will start on Tuesday 4th May 2021 to enable vital safety works to commence on the rockface on the A466.
Tintern will still be accessible via the diversion route.
