COURSE DESCRIPTION:

French Conversation is designed for those who are returning to studying French and provides all the opportunities you need to speak and understand French with confidence, in an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere.

All activities are based on real social and professional situations, with the use of authentic material such as menus, advertisements and brochures. As well as speaking, to improve fluency and confidence, French Conversation also covers a wide variety of listening activities to improve understanding.

Content covers:

• People and daily life, descriptions and routines
• Hobbies and leisure, past holidays and preferences
• Towns and changes over time, environmental problems and the future
• Making enquiries and understanding replies
• Buying and selling
• Following instructions and making recommendations

MEET THE TUTOR: Ceri Seager

I have a Degree in French and German from the University of Manchester and I have worked with French companies in the advertising industry for over 11 years. I have been teaching since 2012, having completed my PGCE at Cardiff Metropolitan University and I have taught pupils of all ages.

I am currently teaching adults on a part-time basis. I enjoy seeing my pupil’s progress and grow in fluency and confidence. My classes are relaxed and friendly and a great place to meet other people who want to understand and enjoy the French culture.
