Sandbags
During times of severe weather Monmouthshire County Council may supply sandbags to those properties at serious risk of flooding. There is no requirement for this service to be provided as the primary responsibility for protecting property flooding rests with the property owner. Requests for sandbags will be considered on a case by case basis and if resources allow will be prioritised and delivered in order of the severity of flooding and risk to people & property.
