InFaCT – Integrating Families & Community Together

Here to help empower families. Linking you and your family to services and opportunities in the community.

How can we help

InFaCT can link you, your family and your children towards relevant services, activities, and opportunities within the community.

We aim to empower families by identifying needs and engaging problems at the earliest opportunity, and to strengthen communities by supporting new ideas and bringing like-minded people together.

Some examples of things we have helped with in the last year:

  • Knowledge of local groups and opportunities, activities and hobbies.
  • Home life and finances, being on the right benefits, accessing grants, accessing food banks, food vouchers or community fridges and help with cost of living worries.
  • Well being and personal needs such as accessing counselling services, worrying about isolation, knowledge of disability services, further education, volunteering and training opportunities.

What do people say about our service

“What a wonderful service. they have been our go to for so many queries and help with families and schools. Thank you for your support”.

“Effective quick support”.

“Communicative and clear around service offer and resources, able to discuss opportunities for support face to face is helpful”.

“They have good knowledge of what was needed for our family”.

“They are so helpful and approachable as a contact to help us support our families”.

About the Team

Katie Shannon

Family and Community Link Co-Ordinator

I enjoy the opportunity to network across the county with a number of groups, services and voluntary organisations that I am then able to link families into to support their needs.  No two days are ever the same and I get to meet some wonderful people. Outside of work you will find me spending time with my family as I am a busy mum to three children.

Nathan Meredith

Young People & Communities Lead

I am a counsellor myself and feel very privileged to continue to be part of all our work with young people. Music and the outdoors are those things that equally keep me smiling.

The team has a diverse skill base in working with people and has a compassionate approach at its heart.

Please get in touch

Our team are working throughout the county and can be available for a face to face conversation at the many community locations and hubs available.

We can also speak to you via phone or online.
