Emma Pitt and Ruth Davies are Additional Learning Needs Advisory Teachers (AlNAT) for Monmouthshire Early Years.

Emma and Ruth provide a wide range of additional learning needs support to Monmouthshire Early Years providers and to parents and carers through:

Carrying out visits;

Offering training;

Advice on strategies,

Sharing resources;

Services to support children’s development and facilitate processes that focus on the individual.

The aim is to work with, and develop the practice in accordance with the Additional Learning Needs Code of Wales and provide a dedicated practical service to support placements in areas they have identified themselves.
