We do not record information on trees in a way that allows us to report “x number of trees were planted / cut down”, as it’s more than one team that may do so and none of it is recorded centrally. To collate this information would require a manual search through many invoices relating to ‘trees’, and this would create a disruptive level of resource diversion. We are therefore applying Regulation 12(4)(b) of the Environmental Information Regulations.
