Today, 15 August 2024, Monmouthshire students have collected their A-Level, AS Level and BTEC results. This is a key day for learners as they plan their next steps in their lives and careers.
Across the county’s four schools, Caldicot School, Chepstow School, King Henry VIII, and Monmouth Comprehensive, staff have greeted their students and their families as they discover the outcome of their years of hard work.
Monmouthshire County Council wishes to congratulate all the learners and thank all the staff in our schools and the families who have supported them throughout the years.
Cllr Martyn Groucutt, Monmouthshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, said:
“Today, we celebrate the achievement of all our learners. This will, for many, be the conclusion of their education at their schools, and I wish you all the best for the next steps. Our learners who received their’AS-levels today will have a sense of progress. I wish you all the best for the forthcoming year. We also celebrate and thank the dedication of all our teachers across the county. Your hard work has allowed our students to achieve, setting them up in the next steps in their lives. One final thanks, of course, must go to the learners’ families. Your support has allowed the learners to achieve throughout the year.”
