Today, 22 August 2024, Monmouthshire County Council celebrates the achievements of learners who’ve collected their GCSE and Level 2 course results.
Monmouthshire County Council wishes to congratulate all the learners, as well as their families who have supported them throughout the years.
The council also wishes to thank all the staff in our schools.
Across the county, staff have greeted their learners and their families as they discover the outcome of their years of hard work.
Cllr Martyn Groucutt, Monmouthshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, said: “Today, we celebrate the achievement of all our learners. This, for some, will be the end of their journeys within our schools as they head off to college, follow an apprenticeship, or start their working lives. For others, it is the marking point of your journey as you return in a few weeks to continue your journey in sixth form. I wish you all the very best in your next steps. I want to take this opportunity to thank the dedicated staff across our county. Your work allows our learners to reach their potential. Our learners, though, wouldn’t be able to achieve their goals without the support of their families, and we here in the council would like to thank every one of you for the support you’ve provided them and will continue to provide them over the years.”
