The annual report of the director of social services aims to tell the story of how well social services are being provided in Monmouthshire and where we need to improve.
All councils in Wales have to produce a report to tell their citizens how social services are performing. These reports are supported by lots of evidence. The Care and Social Services Inspectorate will look at our report to make sure it paints an accurate an honest picture.
Although the report is written by the director lots of people including staff, service users, carers and health professionals have been involved. This helps us to make sure that it reflects what people really think about the work we do.
If you would like to comment on the report, or get more involved by helping us write next years, you can contact us via improvement@monmouthshire.gov.uk
